Gabbar Singh is remake version of Hindi movie Dabangg. Pawan Kalyan playing the title role and Shruti Haasan playing the female lead role.
Story :
Venkatarathnam Naidu/Gabber Singh (Pawan Kalyan) is the only son of Suhasini. Venkatarathnam Naidu (Pawan Kalyan) is the son of Suhasini and the stepson of Naidu (Nagineedu). Venkatarathnam Naidu likes the character of Gabbar Singh (Sholay) and he decides to call himself ‘Gabbar Singh’. He grew up into a daring and dashing eccentric police officer. He transfered to his hometown of Kondaveedu. Pawan Kalyan appears on a horseback in his kakis to fill the first slot of the formula with the opening fight. He faces with local goon and political leader Siddhappa Naidu (Abhimanyu Singh). Tanikella as the villain’s right hand man.
Gabber Sing falls in love with Bhagyalakshmi (Shruti Hassan). Things get murky as the story proceeds and strong human emotions like jealousy, hatred and greed come to the fore. Will Gabbar Singh be able to stop Siddhappa’s atrocities? What happens to Gabbar Singh’s love? There are major changes in the story and in the treatment of characters and it is not a straight remake.
Performance:
Pawan Kalyan has given an extraordinary performance his zone when he breaks into dancing to the beat and with his comedy and timing is perfect. Shruthi looks gorgeous in the film. Her performance as an innocent village girl. Shruthi Hasan once again proves her invisibility.
Ali as Subbu. Brahmanandam as Recovery Ranjith Kumar. Brahmanandam and Ranjit Kumar tickle the funny bones of audiences. The director has failed to make use of Kota and Tanikella Bharani’s acting abilities. Gayatri has played a different role in this film. Abhimanyu Singh has done justice to his role.
Verdict :
After Kushi, Pawan has delivered the good entertainer movie in the form of Gabbar Singh.Power star Fans will definitely enjoys this film and general audience also love this film. The movie is a good comedy entertainer with some quality action sceens and overall it’s nice to watch this film.
