Mirchi Review : Story

Jai [Prabhas] is a cool, fun loving architect, who believes anything and everything in life can be changed with Love. In Italy, Jai comes across Manasa [Richa], Soon they turn into friends… to see her happy, Jai lands in India. As usual with his charms and goodness he becomes close to Manasa’s faction family. When the family accepted Jai to be their sun-in-law, Jai reveals his past life which is connected with Vennela [Anushka] who is part of the rivalary group for Manasa family. What’s the reason for rivalary between both groups? What is the past life of Jai? Does it connected to Richa or not? What is the end of this triangle love story? are to be seen on silver screen.

Star Performances

Young Rebel star lived over and up the expectation in mirchi when compared to his earlier film. When compared in acting, dances, screen presences and especially looking charming on silver screen. Prabhas has shown three modulation in is character Jai as cool NRI, son of sweet parents and working as architect and mass young hero with powerful fights and expressions. Anushka as Vennela looked natural yet entertaining with girl next door and girl in love with Jai. Her performance gave life to character and even her chemistry with prabhas, her dancing skills deserves khudos. Richa stand as negative aspect for the film, she did not match to stand before prabhas, even at one frame throughout the film. Sathyaraj role is neat with grace, even though his character is less in the film Sampath Raj excelled playing the role of protagonist, he impresses in every scene he comes. Bramhi brought few laughs in character of “Veera Pratap” , Nagineedu, Subbaraj, Satyam Ramesh, Nadhiya looked fine doing justice to their role.

Direction, Music & Technical Aspects

Director debuted writer Koratala Siva has made decent yet not out-of-the-box script for star hero like Prabhas. Not just direction, he also took care of Story, Screenplay, Dialogues but succeed at filming countable scenes which audience get connect and remember after leaving theater. Siva managed screenplay but doesn’t sound good with dialogues and even editing part of the film can be better, Routine story line followed by unappealing climax brought movie from super hit to one time watch. Overall, his work is not brilliant and not totally ignorant.

Along with already popular music album, Devi Sri Prasad background score was extraordinary and it gave soul to handful of scenes… made audience immerse with ongoing film. Unlike rest of the movie, Songs were canned beautifully… DSP’s music flows smoothly keeping your foot tap.

Madhi cinematography was disappointing, it completely lacked projecting star hero like prabhas on a large scale. Thought of bringing the native look to scenes like faction backdrop, chases, fights backfired by making the visuals appear cheap and second standard… which you would never expect in a star hero film. Editor Kotagiri venkateswara rao could have used his scissors better in trimming the dragging actions sequences and helped improvising the slow narration parts of the film. Friends duo of Prabhas who also happened to produce this flick spent good money in doing so… All songs and some scenes looked rich and alright but many scenes gives an impression that product cost is saved.

Boring Scenes: Few dragging action sequences, Richa-Prabhas love episode, College episode.
Watch It Or Not ?: Other than Prabhas, no thunders or storms in Mirchi! Still worth watching for brilliant performance of Prabhas in 3 different shades. Go for it, You wouldn’t regret.

SVSC Movie Review

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is a good family entertainer with no action episodes and no commercial elements.

Story:

A middle class family in a village which was headed by Prakash Raj, who is fondly called as “Relangi Mavayya” by his relatives and family members.Jayasudha is his Wife.These couple have two sons Peddodu (Venkatesh), Chinnodu (Mahesh Babu) and a daughter Abhinaya.The two brothers had a good bonding each other.

Peddodu(Venkatesh) is a honest angry man and he believes that what he is doing is right in all the time.Chinnodu (Mahesh Babu) is a happy going guy and can associate easily with everyone.Seetha (Anjali) also lives with this family believing that Peddodu to be her husband and whereas Chinnodu is in love with Geetha (Samantha),Who is a Daughter of Rich Rao Ramesh.

Relangi family is busy in making the arrangements of Abhinaya (Mahesh-Venky’s sister) marriage,there due to some misunderstanding occurs which breaks the relation between the brothers.The rest of the story how these two brothers gets united.
Analysis:

First of all producer Dil Raju has taken a dare step to make the film with these two big heroes and director Srikanth Addala also bravely attempted.Srikanth Addala played the two brothers characters without hurting their fans and he sketched the characters perfectly.

The first of the movie is really good and second of the movie is bit slow.All the characters in the film looks like they were seen in the real life.

Screenplay, story and narration are very good.

Mickey J Mayer Music and Mani Sharma BGM is also very good.

SVSC movie is is a decent family drama entertainer.

Performances:

Venkatesh is extraordinary and Mahesh Babu is superb with his class act

Anjali is brilliant and nicely prorated her role looked very decent

Samantha is gorgeous and beautiful.She performed very bubbly role

Prakash Raj and Jayasudha are awesome

Rao Ramesh, Murali Mohan,Tanikella Bharani ,Rama Prabha, Ahuti Prasad and all others are good in their roles.

Verdict:

SVSC is simple and beautiful like what the movie caption says.Definitely SVSC is a worth watching with your family for this Sankranthi Festival.

Mega Powerstar Ramacharan is all set to deliver through Nayak this Sankranti to his fans expectations.  He is back with bang on target and doesn’t let his fans down.  Let checkout the Movie Review of “NAYAK”.  Here it goes:

Story:

Ram charan as “Cherry”, is a Software engineer in CGTrix Company.  He has an Uncle named Jilebi (played by Brahmanandam).  The plot starts with his uncle unknowingly running into trouble that angers the local Goon Gandipeta Babji (Rahul Dev).  A plan is hatched by Cherry to save his Uncle from the goon that leads and connects the plot and angles of the entire movie.  In this process, Cherry fell in love as expected with the goon’s sister Madhu (Kajal).

Why High profile killings start in the movie and how Cherry gets blamed for all these? Why and how Minister Rawat (Pradeep Rawat) is targeted. CBI team lead by Ashish Vidyarthi is hunting for Cherry and all these leads to unexpected angle in the movie which connects Amala, played by Amala Paul, which connects Kolkatta Crime.

Performance:

Ram Charan delivers with his improved voice modulation and Dance.  Charan is a good dancer, but this movie establishes him with that tag, as he outclasses everybody in the songs Laaila O Laaila and Hey Nayak.

Kajal Agarawal suits Charan in the movie.  Well they seem to be lucky for each other as they are rocking the boxoffice with the movie, as they have done for Magadheera.  Amala Paul has done her best in the movie though she does not have much screen presence.

Brahmanandam delivers what he is good at and does a meaty role in this movie which reminds us of his performance in the movie Krishna.  Posani Murali as Kolkata criminal< MS Narayana and Jayaprakash Reddy has done justice to their roles in the movie.

Highlights:

The first half is delivered well, with a good pace, no boring moments, packaged with action, romance and laughter. Second half though with heavy actions and violence, lightens up and gives a good entertainment, onus on Posani’s performance.

Lowlights:

Predictable story and unsatisfactory climax are the lowlights of the movie.

Verdict:

Nayak is all and all entertainer and perfect start in Tollywood Box-office on sankranti. Definitely watchable!!  Let see how much this grosses up in Box-office.
